Ask A Ninja Gets Twitty With “Twitterbomb NIN/JA”

For those of you who think that twitter has jumped the shark (or maybe the ninja), here is some ammo for your elitist shotgun. Ask A Ninja is undoubtedly one of the biggest social media success stories in terms of a vidcast (video + podcast) going viral and developing a cult following. And yes, it has translated into commercial success big time advertising, a DVD with bonus footage + extras, a book, tee-shirts and even an arena concert. Amazing right?

Clearly the creators of Ask A Ninja understand the power of social media and what works in the medium. They even created a social network for ninjas & fans. For those of you who think that there is a social network for everything, you are right, even ninjas & ninjettes are part of the web 2.0 revolution! But this makes sense if you think about it, because ninjas do power the internet after all. :)

Ninjas have been popularize, appropriated culturally (some would argue wrongly) by the American people, pop culture and net junkies. Clearly the inventors of AAN were in the right place at the right time with the right dude in black pajamas. I am glad to see the Ninja is still keeping it social & has lost some of the invasive ultra-corporate adds at the end of the podcast.

Here are the Twitter handles that the Ninja whats you to TwitterBomb:

PS. I have another 10 posts on their way, been pretty busy post conference & needed to spend some quality time with the family. Yeah & sleeping helps.
