Ideas are what I believe to be the most critically important part of social media. Hence, Zero Strategist dedicating two related categories to the sharing new ideas and the social web technologies that help bring them to life. I plan on adding a lot to these categories over the next few months.

Ideas are fundementally what changes the world. People, technologies, resources and organizations are what bring them to life. Ideas are what changes the way people behave, how they work, and the decisions they make. Ideas are the most important piece of innovation, for without ideas all of the best people, most advanced technologies and most efficient processes are utterly hollow.

Ideas are more important then a platform, more important then the companies that produce the products of those ideas, more important then the technology or medium in which they reside upon or in. Ideas are what live on long after we are gone. Ideas are contagious, they cannot be killed with a gun or bomb. Ideas are fluid like a cloud, mist or vapor. They go through things, around barriers, they enshroud & reveal at the same time. They are the poetry of the mind. Ideas morph, transform societies, ultimatly are what changes cultures!

Ideas Are The Vehicle For Change

Think of everything here as “open source ideas.” After all if you are not having fun, being creative and making cool things…then you are not doing social media.
