From the first Gov 2.0 Camp to the Community Leadership Summit to OSCON Zero Strategist has been there participating in, contributing to community and leading sessions in various topic/subject areas that we are passionate about. Whether it is volunteering for local barcamps or organizing them we understand the events landscape and can help you produce these crowd driven participatory open conference style events. When barcamps are poorly organized, ill conceived or contrived advertisements they can be the worst events you will ever intend. Barcamps that are thought through, distributed to the right communities, authentic and organized can bring together global communities, create synergy and add value to every attendees experience forming lasting networks of like minded people.
Webcasts
Increases in the fields of broadband technology, fiber optics, web servers and internet infrastructure have allowed us to broadcast video and audio instantly via the web. Webcasts and streaming media have become important tools not just for broadcasters but for those who want to teach and learn via the new medium. People can call in, interact, ask questions in real time and participate in distributed learning. Webcasts can also be extended beyond limits of real time and geographical constraints by being recorded and distributed via podcast or video sharing platforms like YouTube.
