Welcome to ZERO Level

Today I flew into Las Vegas to attend the 2nd Annual Prosci Change Management Conference. Upon arriving at Las Vegas Airport way too early in the morning, I was confronted by an unique sign that caught my attention –

Zero Level

Welcome to ZERO Level
In order for me to reach where I needed to go I first had to go to the ZERO Level. Not “Zero Level” or “0 Level”  just “ZERO Level.” I wonder who built this airport this particular way and why there is a ZERO Level? Why did they decided to name this level ZERO? I have been through a lot of airports in my time and travels, never seen a Zero Level before. Given our name Zero Strategist I found this to be an odd and perhaps serendipitous occurrence. Too many parallels to go into depth here without being completely cheesy or camp.

As the journey of Zero Strategist continues I continue to see signs all along the way that we are headed in the right direction. Welcome to Vegas, do not pass go, do not collect $200, go directly to the ZERO Level and your change adventure begins. :)

Very fun! Signs – they’re like our very own personal reminders or “aha” moments. Go forth Yoda and find meaning for it is to everyone’s benefit for you to be inspired. Cheers!

Yes, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! These moments when things just click, pop or “you have been here before” are indeed inspiring. Staying inspired can be the hardest part of change, working on continuous or long term projects. It is important to seize upon these moment which we encounter, because they are put before us for a reason. It is up to us to act upon them. Here is to the big Y and making it happen. Carpe noctem!
